Well I was happy and having a great time but I look like a dork. Which is accurate to be fair
I just remembered I met @Dreamer before this but we didn’t take a pic! So she is my first forum liner meet
None of the ones I’ve mentioned are forum liners. I’m not sure who was my first forum meet. Maybe @PrincipalTinker.
Mine too.
Except the one time, 7 or 8 years ago when we were waiting at the tapstiles at MK and I commented on someone’s Liner button that was standing behind us. Those were my lurker days so I have no idea who it was but she was flying solo and talked my ear off for 15 minutes.
Hi to whomever that was.
I kinda stalk you, don’t I?
Would we call it stalking?
Oh wait. I forgot until she just posted but @PrincipalTinker and I watched Happily Ever After right next to each other one night but didn’t realize it until a day or two later.
Does that count?
My first Touring Plans meet was December 2011 - changed my life forever. I still travel with many I met that year- here is @len’s CoP meet after we used literal clipboards to test a touring plan.
The 2023 Liner Competition…showing your legs as to challenge Jeff for the most sexiest man legs.
I’ve been a TP member since 2007. I would only be active while planning trips and mostly used chat. Became active in forum during the pandemic to escape mainstream social media.
My first Liner meet was in 2010ish with someone from chat who lives in my town. She’s no longer on TP.
In 2019, I was talking myself into going to a Liner meet for 12/30 MK fireworks viewing at the Poly. But, there were some logistical things to work out and my introvertness took over so I talked myself out of it.
First forum Liner meet was with @bethro23 in May 2022.
Then the Epic Liner meet in July.
My first Liner meet was with a group of fabulous people, including but not limited to @BGK, back in 2015 outside of what is now Steakhouse 71. Lasting friendships to this day.
I have continued to collect Liners with each and every trip to the point that my family asks “who I’m meeting up with this trip and when” each time. For fear of omitting someone I have met I will not list them all, but safe to say I have had the very good fortune of meeting a large number of you over the years and it is one of the things I most look forward to in any trip
Music? I think I remember it is well known for its music program?
Holy cow that is a big group!
Aren’t we all Disney Dorks?
I’m really loving all these old Liner meet photos! What is with the Statue of Liberty hats?
It has always been a trip highlight for me too.
Yep, I was(am?) a Music Comp. major:)
Love all you Liner friends: the ones I’ve met, the ones I have not met but see on the forums regularly and now all you ex-lurkers! I would have never thought about doing a solo trip until the meet last summer and I am so glad I went. Hope I get to meet more of you some day
And it was so lovely meeting you, TWICE!
…and then subsequently went to grad school for data science. I am definitely one of those people who had a hard time figuring out what I wanted to be when I grew up .
I started in computer science, then went to geology. Went to grad school to study paleoclimate, but now I work for a small oil/gas firm. LOL!
And Ryley sang and danced the whole show! I don’t know if I have ever enjoyed HEA so much!
And at 12, she would be mortified by the thought of such a public display now
