LLMP Strategy for buying

When our 7 day advance window opens for buying LLMP’s I’m intending to just buy them for all 13 days we’ll be there (We’re in a Deluxe resort, Boardwalk Inn).

I know you can only buy one day at a time from 7amEST on the day of release and will need to choose 3 rides when I buy 1 day. Clearly buying 13 days is going to take some time.
So what is the best strategy. Same as dining, start with furthest day into future, which means chance of getting anything decent on the early days will have gone, or just go as fast as I can from Day 1 forward?

The advice I’ve seen is to book the park which will sell out fastest. So whatever day(s) you’re going to MK would be the first purchase, then HS, Epcot, and then AK. I’m researching for my first trip so I could be wrong.

It depends  Not a good answer, I know.

No, once you get to 5’ish days out, there will be a lot of LL availability so while I can see some situations where a person might choose to book day 3 over day 1 or something similar, it is counterproductive to start from your last day on a ling trip.

For the first 5 days or so of your trip, you have to balance (a) expected LL availability, (b) the times you want for certain attractions, and (c) the demand for those attractions.

Tip: Book the very high demand LLs you want on the early days first (even if it’s just one or two rides), then move to your next booking day and so forth. For me that means focusing on SDD, TSM, Remy and TBA. Fill in the remaining LLs to get to your prebooked 3 after you book the high demand rides for other days.

On my last 5 day trip, DW and I both had our phones out at 7:00 am to book. I booked in this order: Day 1 SDD and TSM, Day 2 Remy, Day 5 TBA (then LLSP for Day 2 GotG). And DW booked in this order: Day 3 SDD, Day 4 TBA. Then I went in and booked all the other LLMPs and LLSPs…

You only have to choose 1 at the initial buy.

It depends on your priorities. With 13 days you have a lot of options! And you have a jump on most guests, especially during that second half of the trip.

Agreed with 13 days. I would focus on the first half first (say 7 days) and book in order of toughest LL availability to easiest. Focus on booking the rides that have limited availability. You can always go back in and add those easier to get tier 2s. Then just to the second half in day order.
ADR availability has been much better than in the past. Book the hardest to get first. There is a new thread here dedicated to which ADRs are the hardest to get.

Talking about LLMP’s not the ADR’s.

Did my ADR’s 2 days ago at 60 day mark, and everything had loads of availability and still does, except for Space220 (but that’s not on Dining Plan, so only want a quick drink in Lounge, so grabbed a couple of random mid afternoon times).

Saw you mentioned it. Didn’t realize you’ve gotten past that mark. Space 220 is so elusive. Day of you may see stuff pop up as people cancel. You can always wait list too if your times don’t work. It can be as quick as 10-15 mins for the lounge.
