My name is Kate Augusto and am
about to start my 23rd year of teaching. I teach and coach in a Title 1 district in the suburbs of NYC. Hi! Iām a 20+ year teacher in CT, returning to Kindergarten after 6 years in TK. One of my favorite things to do is a 1-1 bear program to help kids with transitioning to school. I have been able to give every child a bear to keep for the past 10 years and it has been the best experience. I am hoping to continue that tradition and add some fun new things to keep my classroom exciting this year!
