If you’re re-optimizing TPs while in the park with the App, mark off the steps you have completed as “Done”, making sure to mark the most recent step last before you Optimize because it assumes that you are at the last “Done” step.

When Optimizing TPs in the Web interface the criteria for best possible order is defined by the “Waiting vs. Walking” slider, where you set whether you want to minimize walking, minimize waiting in line, or balance the two (default).
