I wouldn’t recommend that. You can get very good use out of LLMP with drop times. And even barring that, the two extra days will be vastly superior to more LLs crammed into two days. I promise.
Most of the best ticket deals include LLMP with the ticket. So you are pre-paying for all days of your ticket.
But it is possible to buy tickets without LLMP and then purchase day-by-day.
For sure in the list. DW loves a raft adventure!
This sounds good!
You just inspired me to watch a MMRR video online for the queue. We skipped MMRR on our recent DLR trip. Very very cool. And at the risk of spoiling anything….
The Potatoland reference!
That alone would’ve made it a hit with our teens. Oh well.
Putting together some touring plans and it has me being done at DCA by noon.
It’s a predicted 5 - shouldn’t plan to go have lunch and do it all over again?
Wow 542 minutes of waiting for 24 min of riding? Am I reading that right![]()
It’s the night time shows, so arriving at noon is gonna have a LONG wait.
My booking window for dining packages open next week-ish, so trying to wrap my head around the scheduling for this. 9pm Fantasmic! followed by fireworks and Galaxy’s Edge sounds pretty good. That would give time to bop around and catch anything we’d like afterwards. Any disadvantages to this, or greater advantages for doing the later shows?
The one thing to note is that it will be tricky to get to Galaxy’s Edge after Fantasmic before the fireworks. It’s close by, so not impossible, but I have never attempted it so I’m not sure. In the past when I have done Fantasmic, a lot of people remain in place to watch fireworks form the Rivers of America.
Would doing GE then doing F! Make more sense? I’m very open to either.
There are benefits to either way. The one thing I’ll say is that the second showing of everything is less busy than the first. And the first Fantasmic showing is probably the most crowded thing besides Main Street for fireworks / PTN. Galaxy’s Edge you can probably be more flexible on.
Are you against doing lots of things? If you are there two full and two partial days, you could do SO many things. And even the repeats aren’t really equal. It’s so fun to do both. It’s like how you can eat the same dish by different chefs and love them both.
I
agree with doing any repeats that are the slightest bit different; Space Mt, MMRR, BTMRR, HM, PoTC, Small World and one and one! Star Tours is the only complete copy I can think of. Am I missing anything else?
I want to do ALL the things, but also chill all the time. It looks like across two full and two half days, I’ll be able to accomplish that.
As we’re not sure the reality of getting out there again anytime soon, we want to make sure to slow down and be immersed, but that same reality means we need to experience the rides!
C’est la vie!
You can absolutly do both- slow down and get everything done in that time. The immersion is immediate and unavoidable and eveything is just so close together. Is it possible you won’t ride Luigi’s, Davey Crocket’s Canoes and Casey Jr. Train? Yes. But otherwise it will be way easier than you think. Night time shows are the most complicated puzzle.
Casey’s is a maybe but the other two, and several others seem unappealing.
This is where I need to dial in expectations. Maybe just F! and Fire Moons one night and WoC the next. Also eyeing a dining package for WoC - a buffet with characters sounds fun!
I always do the dessert party if I have any to see WOC. Too old & short to stand to watch the show comfortably but with the dessert party you get a chair with a good view.
Great to know, though that price tag seems like a lot to swallow for a chair and a cupcake. Can’t put a price on comfort though.
Thinking through my daily strategy, I’m feeling like doing DCA on the first full day and DL on the second is the way to go. Reasoning is that even with the time difference, we’ll sleep in due to having a 5am flight the day before and it appears rope dropping DL has better returns.
Switched the flights to a later one landing at noon. I feel like the extra five hours of sleep and less traffic vs 8am will be good for my aura.
