Likelihood of Deluxe Hours in December?

Booking a trip in mid-December for my final trip with my AP. (This year went too fast!!)

Current dates planned are 12/11-12/17. I’m thinking about doing a split stay, spending the first 4 nights at one of the All Stars and the final 2 nights at the Dolphin (found a great deal). Part of the incentive to stay at the Dolphin is location, but a major part is the access to Deluxe Evening Hours.

What is the likelihood of Deluxe Evening Hours in mid-December? It looks like Mondays are typically at Epcot from 9-11. It wouldn’t be a dealbreaker to not have them, but I may consider a different Disney resort instead, in that case. (Contemplating Coronado or Port Orleans Riverside)

Thought I’d reach out to the experts, thank you in advance!!

Until the schedule is released by Disney, the best predictor is to look at the Evening Hours dates/parks last year for the corresponding days.

No guarantees, but there doesn’t seem to be indication they are dropping them, so probably safe to assume they will be there…but the bigger question is…is the advantage they offer big enough to be worth it.

Last year, we went to EEH at DHS and thought it was worth it (TSM and MMRR were walk-on and SDD only 30 min wait). We skipped EEH at Epcot because I didn’t think it would be worth it based on the historically wait times at EP EEH.

I just meant being worth the extra cost of staying deluxe versus something cheaper.

I agree with looking at last year’s hours. Your trip is Wednesday thru Tuesday.

Last year in December, AK had EEH at AK on 12/4 and 12/28. Otherwise all the EEH were at EP on Mondays and Thursdays every week, except for Monday 12/11. No MK or HS.

I would not count on extra hours at Magic Kingdom because of the Christmas parties in December and Disney would rather you buy a ticket rather than give you a perk for staying deluxe. There are parties at the other parks, but not in the numbers that MK has them.

Good point. I think they just did Epcot in December of 2023 with a couple AKs thrown in.

Is this free if you stay at a deluxe resort or do you have to buy special tickets

So far it has been free.
