I’ll be able to book our LL on Sunday and I’m trying to prepare myself so I’m not caught off guard. I’ve read that you can’t purchase all the LLs for all the days in a single transaction - but I’ll be able to book LLs for our entire travel party in a single transaction. Is this correct?

I’m booking LLs for my family, along with my SIL’s family. Their account is linked to ours, so I’m assuming it shouldnt be a problem. As for payment, will I need to pay for both at the same time and then just have her pay me back for their LLs?

Anything else I need to be mindful of when booking for 2 families?

Yes, provided all members of both parties are linked. I think there is an upper limit of something like 12 people who can be done at once but I am not certain on this.

Yes. You have to pay in full at time of purchase, so you’d need to have them pay you back after the fact

Correct, it’s one day per transaction (LLMP + any LLSPs in a single transaction).

Try making a dining reservation for everyone in your party first (not necessarily all on the same ADR if you can’t find availability) to make sure you can make plans with them. If you can make an ADR with someone, you can also book LLs for them.

So can you book LLs for linked friends who have a later check in date than you? I am guessing no.

You are subject to the restriction on timing independently for each guest. So if their check-in date is later, you can’t book for them until their date is up, but you could book for yourself on your eligibility date. Or you could wait and book for both of you on the later date.

Dang, I was hoping there was a workaround. I sure do miss the old system, this new one penalizes groups with different check in days. I’m going to Disneyland in just 3 days and am so happy it’s still day of buying and booking there.

I’m planning a couple of trips there this year myself! I do appreciate the consistency of the LL system over there. It’s basically been the same since MaxPass.

I had a similar question- So let’s say you are getting LL passes for a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday.
Do I need to select the purchase for Monday (and select the rides), then check out.
Then start again for Tuesday, select the rides, then check out.
And so on?
Are there any videos from Touring Plans of them doing this live? I know we are purchasing LL Multipass for 4 days of our trip and I know which rides I want to select ahead of time but I cannot visualize how it works.

Yes you’ve got it right. There are screenshots and videos online - easiest to google it. But until you do it yourself it’s all theoretical, I found.
