I can’t believe it’s already over  But I’m so glad you were able to have such a fun time and not let the start of the trip ruin things. Your family (including you, of course) are amazing! Safe travels home!

Safe travels home Stacy and family. I hope you enjoyed UOR! I hope everyone had a fun time despite it not being Disney.

Ok, until right now I would’ve told you that that was part of the backlot tour at Disney!!

I have pics from there in 1991 - my only trip as a kid. We did both Disney and Universal back then, so details like that (especially of things that don’t exist anymore) all blur together.

That does explain, however, why our pic at the Bates Motel is on foot rather than on a ride. I have questioned that for years!! :woman_facepalming:t4::joy::joy:

So was this located around where city walk is now?

The entrance to Hard Rock Cafe was right beside the house so I think it must have been behind it? My memories are from 1992 so also a bit fuzzy!

I think so (???) I’m not sure where the location would be compared to now, I just definitely remember the Psycho house being near Hard Rock because my dad bought a very neon shirt at Hard Rock. I also remember the Alfred Hitchcock presents attraction because you wore 3D glasses & “The Birds” were flying out at you.

We did the same thing that trip—Disney parks (only 3 of them back then) and then Universal Orlando.

The article below shows a lot of those old attractions, including the Psycho house. I need to get the pictures from that vacation from my mom! My parents live in Tennessee now and I’m currently in Indiana, so it isn’t easy to just go pick them up.

Oh. That’s a great idea. I’ll get the boys to add a minion or two.

Just dawned on me I’m glad I named it, “Life finds a way,” and not, “What could go wrong?”
Though.
