Let's Play Guess the Price of an Epic Express Pass

For purposes this question, let’s assume it is an express pass for 1 admission (not unlimited) to the express line for each attraction at Epic and that each attraction will have an express line available.

My guess: Starting at $299 and going up to $499 depending on the day.

Oh! I have no idea but I would hope your range is a good guess!

$189 - $389

My guess is UOR will “say” pass prices start at $199 or something. However, in reality, most dates will start at $299 - $399.

Like 1 Wednesday in mid-September for $199 being the only day under $299.

I’m going to guess $399 will be the lowest price for 2025.

At first I was going to say it’ll be the prices of the existing parks Express, afterall they charge the same price for Express. Then I decided to go look on the website and noticed that USF and IOA are now being sold and priced differently for Express. USF starts at $99, IOA starts at $105, and I think Epic will start at $120. Start, of course, with most of the days being significatnly higher.

Ouch, that would hurt. I wonder if there would ever be a time when AP’s could go but Express wasn’t offered and the crowds (in general) weren’t too bad. If that time came, I think we might plan a last minute trip to get in before express passes.

I am assuming that Epic EP will never be added to the Premier Hotel EP’s since there wouldn’t be a contract requiring it.

This is my understanding.

If you all overbid, I get it for a buck!

Correct. And I think Universal would like that contract to end at the earliest possible date! I’ve never read anything indicating how long the contract lasts or if Loews has options to extend the length of the contract.

I compared staying at Royal Pacific with staying at Endless Summer and buying Express for four people in Dec. and this early out it was cheaper to buy it outright. That’s prolly not true if you get one room for one night for two days of passes but my then 21 and 18 year old want their own room at this age and we’re staying more nights than going to the old parks. But I was also shocked with how expensive that resort has become. When sales go on its prollly still a great deal tho

The math works if you actively use the benefit on your check-in and check-out dates but not really otherwise (or if you have two rooms with two people in it vs four in one). Heck it doesn’t work sometimes with the check-in and out dates!

Yup all that. We would need two rooms or a suite and with only one actual day in the old parks it makes no sense. But when they were younger and we shared a room and one time I just bought a night when we were actually renting dvc points cuz it was cheaper for the two days than buying the express for two days for four people. We didn’t even need the room but since we had it we crashed in it with an overnight bag.

The Express Unlimited offered for hotel stays is also a plus if you want to ride a ride over, and over, and over. We did 2 nights at Hard Rock with the kids. So 3 days of Express Unlimited. I don’t recall if they had onsite that didn’t offer it that trip but the next viable option with 3 beds was the same price with purchase of Express Pass each day (one ride each). So it made total sense! We had a suite for 6 ppl, so more than the basic room at Hard Rock.

Epic universe only express passes start at 129.99.

It’s valid for all but 3 rides (subject to change). Once per ride.

Price range thru end of year was $130 to $310 as of now, with the highest price being Xmas week. but if it works like the other parks price could increase as it sells out.

BatM must be incredible! They know it’s going to be too popular to offer UXP upon opening!

My first thought is that they’re leaving money on the table. I thought they’d at least sell at a price comparable to HS LLPP.

My second thought is that ride reliability may be an issue at first so maybe they don’t want to overprice these.

I mean it was more expensive on Dec 17 for only 10 attractions in one park one ride per attraction than my park to park unlimited one on Dec 18th for the two old parks.

$228.97 for one person for single ride on ten attractions
I can’t see the other pass price anymore cuz the whole system is fried online, everything is missing and says it’s on pause for buying new stuff plus I’ve been on hold on the phone for 2 hours 14 min so far. But I think it was like $210 per person or thereabouts for the unlimited park to park one.
*Just checked and right now it’s $260.92 for the day I bought the park to park unlimited express pass which is way cheaper than DHS and way more attractions since it’s two parks. I might have paid less than this though cuz I bought it a month ago and they go up over time.
