If they wanted to do something with Incredibles versus a sci-fi villain I would think that could work in place of Alien Encounter in that area.

Will making it shorter actually help that, though? It doesn’t speed up load time to have the track shorter. A longer track allows more people riding simultaneously given the same load time. That is, they can run more vehicles at a time.
If for no other reason than to cut down on the noxious fumes that make me hate every car ride like it.

Here’s my EPCOT fixes
The park becomes dedicated to a place whete the Experimental Community is all about world peace and what common experiences we all have.
Expand World Showcase with more countries adding in rides and dedicated character M&Gs
Future World can be more "elementals"IP based areas (water, fire, air) like Moana’s water area. (We all use water)
Keep Soarin with an updated film continuing to show other countries. (Most people dream of flight as a common theme)
The Space side of the park can stay with Test Track removal and a new better ride at Mission Space. Tie all of that to GotG. (Most people look to the stars with wonder)
Spaceship Earth stays and talks about Story Tellingn language and oral history unite us all. (As they planned)
They should still do the conference building to host events.

Step 1: Find out who came up with the idea for Genie+ and keelhaul them under the Liberty Belle…
Step 2: I agree with the Space Mountain revamp, I really like the Disneyland 2-seater cars
Step 3: Muppets Great Movie Ride, in fact, more Muppets everywhere. Heck, give me a Muppets Haunted Mansion in Hollywood Studios. It’ll be awesome.

I always thought a new film named Soarin’ Across America could be cool. Lots of beauty in our own country…but please make it real footage and not the stupid computer generated stuff they did for Soarin’ Around the World!

There’s a FlyOver America attraction at the Mall of America that is exactly what you described. I went on it a few years ago and can’t remember if it was real footage or not. Downside: no Patrick Warburton.

I think a cool idea for Soarin’ would be a round the world whistle stop tour to each Disney park across the world with a world famous landmark between each one.

Before I would build a fifth gate, I would get first add more attractions using current locations of former attractions like Stitch in MK, Little Mermaid in HS, empty pavilions at EPCOT, and Primeval Whirl at AK.
Not looking for a re-do but those locations have the infrastructure in place that you could add a new feature or attraction relatively quickly.

They aren’t often running at full load because cars aren’t enough cars back or there is a back log at unloading.
At a coaster, you are constantly moving because it’s train after train. You are loading one while another is on track.
Right now they are doing what happens at PoC and Splash. They load too many cars onto the track (boats/flumes in those cases) then at ride end you have a back-up of vehicles. This gives the illusion of a quicker queue because at loading it “seems” to be a better moving queue. In, reality you wait longer at loading and unloading.
VelociCoaster with three trains is a perfect example of this. (Plus, you area familiar with that situation too!)

I guess my point is length of track at Speedway won’t make any difference in ride throughout. The bottleneck is 100% loading and unloading. So, shortening the track won’t help at all with that. Might as well leave it longer. (It is already shorter than it was thanks to Tron.)
Of course, the Speedway is a large piece of land. They could yank it out entirely and put something more exciting with higher ride capacity entirely.
