That’s true about any cruise! But DCL is 200% (or more) expensive.
I have enjoyed my DCL cruises. But they aren’t two times better than other cruises. I wondered if you had some novel insight into why they sail more fully than other lines.
I don’t think that’s more full than other lines, at this point in time- the line I work for is up over 100% for Q3 (the base assumption is 2 people per cabin and so using the full occupancy of a room for 3 or 4 bumps things over 100%). I would honestly have expected Disney to be doing at least as well as us.
I wonder if some of it is that Disney’s fleet is miniscule compared to others.
true, but I guess I expected them to have more families in the mix. Although at that price diff you showed, yikes, no wonder they have some unsold cabins on their hands!
Oof
Oh wow! That’s remarkable.
I did a very generalized search for the first week of March and noted DCL was twice the alternatives (I was looking at Celebrity and Carnival). Then again. That’s was DCL inside to the others balcony. So it could have been 1:3 if I did more similar comparisons.
Finally finished the MIchael Shelly podcast interview yesterday, and I retract my statement of not learning something new in most of Len’s interviews. Len is now working in the medical field??? I’d love to know what, but I suspect it is hush-hush for now.
And know the exact method for determining the sound proofing of each hotel room…LOL!
From LinkedIn …
I’m working on a couple of interesting things:
GlucosePath.com is decision support software for physicians treating patients with Type 2 Diabetes. It helps physicians deal with the complexity of finding the optimal set of medicines, from among the millions of possible combinations.
_________.com is decision support software for ___________. It helps ________ deal with the complexity of finding the optimal set of ________, from among the millions of possible combinations.
Hmmm, sounds vaguely familiar.
