I’m going back and forth on a last minute Disney trip in a few weeks. I don’t want to book anything until I know for sure that I will be be going. How much time before arriving at MCO do I need to make hotel reservations to be able to take the DME?

Hopefully someone who knows will correct me if I’m wrong. But my understanding is that while a reservation is preferred for logistical reasons, even if you were a walk-in customer they’d still take you.

I’ve not done it in awhile but once I actually showed up in person to the world and got a great deal on a room at CR. And another time I called the night before and got a great 3-day package deal at CSR.

As long as you have a room reservation number, you can walk up to the DME counter and they will get you on a bus. So, you can book on the plane if you have WiFi, or as you walk off the plane, assuming they have a room and park reservation to your liking.
