My trip is almost here (2 weeks) and I am in final stages of planning. I’m hoping the brilliant hive mind can answer some of my questions that I can’t seem to figure out. I’m a seasoned Disney visitor, read (and heart posts on) the forum frequently, and yet, still have questions.
Most importantly: POG mimosas Where can I find these? I had one on my last trip in late 2024 and can’t remember where.
If I have a split stay, where do the Magic Band charges go on the day I check out of Hotel A and into Hotel B? Paying with gift cards so I wonder whether I should use the physical gift card that day or if I can pay off at the hotel with the gift card afterwards.
I was unable to get a Yak and Yeti reservation 63 days out and have checked a million times even after AK park hours changed and nothing is open at 5 or later. Do they still do walk up with Landry’s card? Reliable to go that route?
LL overlap dining reservation? Will that be an issue as LL advance through the day and I have dinner ADR?
I see that LL for Little Mermaid advance quickly and even sell out. I’ve never used a LL for a show but is it needed to get into the next showtime? I don’t mind showing up 15-30 minutes ahead of show time but I don’t want to have to wait through until the next show.
Is Wild Africa Trek worth the $$$$? We are trying to decide if it’s worth it for a family of 4 on one of our rest days. If we don’t, will probably use 1/2 that money for a dessert party for last night of trip. I’ve done a dessert party before so know the advantages of that but Wild Africa Trek seems pretty cool.
DW and I loved WAT (before we had kids) . We have been contemplating whether to do it as a family next trip (with DD10 and DS8), but are on the fence of whether are kids our old enough (and interested enough in that type of experience) to get the most out of the experience. We haven’t decided yet, but may wait until the kids are a few years older. So I think it depends on the ages and interests of your kids.

Each hotel will normally settle your folio in the early hours of your check-out morning against your previously supplied credit card. You can go to the front desk later that morning and have the charges reversed and re-settle using gift cards. You can also avoid this by going to the front desk the evening before and settling with gift cards and then not making any additional charges against your room.
YES
The LL return window is open for 119 minutes giving you a chance to work around an overlap. You an also plead your case with Guest Services and request a modification of your LL reservation,

for LL, I was more worried about not being able to book another attraction if the time overlapped with an ADR. We have 2 ADRs on our MK day. Would I have to wait til the time advances past the hour of our reservation? Or could I book for example Space mountain for 300 if my B&B ADR is at 315?
Im not very good with ADR overlap questions. Sorry! Only thing I can say is I believe they are not restrictive on the day of, just in advance. But I could be wrong about that
Yes y&y with Landry’s works great. That’s actually why you can’t get an ADR as they save so many spots for walk up with Landry’s. For example, I arrived at 11:45 and it was busy. They told me 20 minutes but I waited 5.
I was worried about this same thing for our trip in January, but we were able to get into the show without having to use a LL. We arrived pretty last minute to the 4:25pm show, and still managed to get seats without issue. It was a Crowd Level 6 day, though. If it’s helpful, we were in the outdoor covered part of the queue when we got in line.
