Food tour thoughts:
- takoyaki (octopus balls were yummy)
- matcha ice cream not really for me
- Japanese beer is like coors to me (I’m an IPA girl so these are light)
- Japanese whiskey high ball was okay
- green tea Kit Kat was not bad but I wouldn’t go out of my way for it. Better than the ice cream though
- meet skewers we’re delicious
- the guide was very nice and helpful helping us get our train tickets and showing us how to get back. The train is pretty easy if you know where you’re going. Use the big map but the trains themselves flash back and forth between English and Japanese on the TVs inside and they talk in English too.
We were sleep deprived and jet lagged but it was good to push thru and good to see the Friday night life of Dotombori in Namba

I’m pretty bad at remembering photos before eating. I’ll spare you the post pics! Buffet was alright. Lots of variety but pretty average quality. Almost time to park!

Okay this VIP starts off very nice. Avoided the early wake up. Avoided the huge baggage and checkin lines. We have an English guide and access all day to VIP lounge with drinks and snacks and A/C.
We selected again which meals and rides/shows we wanted and she went off to make the dining reservations. You can choose to either meet a character or play carnival games.

I had my phone away in lockers most of the day but we rode
- Hollywood Dream the ride backdrop which made me take a Dramamine and three my back hard into the seat on the downs so try to keep your back all the way into the seat. It was just okay imho
- Doraemon was fantastic. All of us just walked off with big smiles. Highly recommend best of the day so far
- jujitsu kaisen 4d was just okay for me not knowing anything about it
4)JAWS is a classic. We all giggled a lot
5)Jurassic Park was better than Florida and slightly different than Florida (also you get free ponchos on VIP tour) - The flying dinosaur was great number 2 for them day for me
- Yoshi was cute but very very short. No way I would have waited 80 min for it
- now we are at kinopios cafe (skipped the line cuz of VIP tour)
*Also this is the only area of the park that’s felt packed to me.

Taking a PM break but after lunch we played a key game, I tried to do another but the lines were like 30 minutes long so we didn’t have time to do more than one (that’s not included in VIP tour but lunch, dinner, snacks and drinks are both in cost and in skipping the line). Then we rode Mario Kart which is a lot going on but I really liked it. Butterbeer break (was included in cost of your). Onto forbidden journey which is amazing when one has Dramamine in their system and doesn’t get sick. Their version has more dementors. Stopped at Mario cafe for fruit cream sodas (strawberry, apple and peach of which I did not take photos). Sweet but good. Took a break in the VIP lounge for A/c, potty and water while I went to ticket exchange to get our one piece summer tickets from the QR code. Then a little more break in lounge and next up Sing show.

I found out recently that this wasn’t enough to make it tolerable for me, unfortunately! I will never ride again and just thankful I didn’t throw up!

It’s 6:30 pm and One Piece Summer (extra cost) is next in the Waterworld theater and apparently I bought tickets in splash zone. Thanks Japanese only site!!! Lol. Thank god we still have the free ponchos from VIP tour

One piece summer was extremely long and I don’t recommend unless you’re a fan and/or know Japanese but I’m not unhappy we did it either. This is how close the hotel is as I took this photo from the arches.

How’d we match up. We didn’t meet the magical creatures or do wands but we did ride FJ and Spidey so fair balance I suppose. Otherwise we did everything on the list in about 12 hours.

7:30 PM Mouriya Gion Dinner (Kobe Beef Restaurant)
After which, can order a taxi or walk the 1.1 miles back to the hotel
