I was booked in an extended balcony room on the Dream later this year & Disney just released “GVT” room rates that ended up being $880 less than what I had booked. As much as I enjoyed the extended balcony, for a 4-night cruise, that’s a big difference, so I changed it. I can now use the difference to pay off my WDW vacation that follows the cruise. I think if it was either a 7-night or 8-night cruise, that would be different & I’d have kept the extended balcony, but where this is a shorter cruise, that’s a lot of money saved.

The opposite seems to be true for mine. The rates seem to have gone up. I got in for the summer cruises when they dropped for Silver members.
