Does this mean it might open to everyone else on the 5th? We’ll be in Epcot on the 8th and would be so excited if we got to walk through

It very well might. There hasn’t been an attraction like this basically ever, but when other attractions have had previews, there has been a period of time when it is closed for final preparations between previews and opening to the public. But it’s also possible they will not need to do that in this case since it’s not a ride that requires any additional testing.
