Tomorrow I say goodbye to Calvin (sob) and depart for the airport, ready for my flight on Monday morning.
The packing is done. The pre-packing spreadsheet was immensely helpful. Some final adjustments to what-went-where needed to be made.
The schedule has been rigorously checked and finalised. No more changes will now be made, except on the fly on the day. The touring plans have all been brought up to date. A few final tweaks were made.
Tomorrow: quality time with Calvin, prepare house for house-sitters, and then drive to the airport.
I’m kinda excited, but I think a part of me doesn’t believe that any of this is actually real.
