No. It actually puts you behind the pack.

AK routinely allows the crowd early access to Pandora. The CMs will start walking you in at least 30 minutes before official opening.
Is that just for Pandora, or the rest of AK too?
Not at all, it hurts more than it helps. Pandora opens early every day. I believe they let guests past the taps to line up at the Pandora bridge not long after 8am on 9am open

They let all guests in early. A majority are held for Pandora but there are other holding areas for guests that want to go to EE or Safari .
