Is there any hope for a FOP FP last minute? Do they release more when the date gets closer or comes?

Yes, there is always hope. I have seen people post that they have snagged same day FPPs for FOP. I’ve never been so lucky, but I’ve tried. Just keep refreshing the app–it’s surprising how much availability can change from minute to minute.

I snagged a last minute FOP fastpass at around noon for a 2:30 ride for 3 people while in the park.

If times change for the park close, you could have late night fast passes come out. I just benefited from this last week. Missed out at first and picked up a FOP FPP+ when they bumped the close to 10:30.
