Is it wrong to eat veal at Tiffins?

I was raised to understand that veal is a morally repugnant meat, right up there with foie gras.

So it seems strange to see it on the Tiffins menu.

Is modern veal production no longer objectionable?

And has anyone had the veal at Tiffins?

Veal is …not great, but neither is commercial meat production of adult animals :woman_shrugging:t2:

I’d be interested in how Disney sources their veal to see if it’s got any improvements over some of the worst veal practices (which some states have outlawed).

It’s more of something my parents’ generation ate than mine (my parents would be in their 70s and 80s now and I’m in my 40s). It wouldn’t surprise me if they phase this off the menu in coming years.

It’s still a staple menu item at most Italian restaurants so :person_shrugging:

I know most humans eat meat, but I think it’s the height of irony that Animal Kingdom restaurants have so much meat and so few vegetarian options.

I’m against veal but if you generally eat it, eat it.
