"If you can't go to Disney World, why not try a different vacation?"

You should absolutely do this!! The European Christmas markets are 100% as magical as Disney is :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: AND you can walk around drinking hot mulled wine while you browse the stalls. It’s the BEST.

Did you know you can take a ferry (and your car) From Seattle to Alaska? Not sure this is the cruise you’re looking for!

That is too cold for me. High 60’s is about my starting point.

Seattle is NOT on my short list. :stuck_out_tongue:

I’d go out of Vancouver I believe.

But would you camp on the deck of a ferry? That is the bigger question!

For one night? Sure.
In the cold… maybe?
Would I pay a lot to do it? Definitely not!

Mousematt, again your writing is fantastic! What you say about landing in America and how the air is different etc. is exactly how I’ve felt the 3 times I’ve been to London. I really want to go there again with my family and have them have that experience. I agree with all the others who say it’s great to have access to lots of countries in Europe. Here I can only drive to Canada easily; Mexico is really far on the other side of the country, at least 3 days drive away.

I frequently listen to his radio show on NPR.
