Yeah. It could be crowded with the procrastinators, but I think they had a promo deal running through about that time last year, so crowd predictions likely already factored that in. The unbearable crowds will be the two weeks that follow your visit. I’ve been there on 9 or 10 days during Christmas overlay, and, though not a crowd lover, I didn’t mind it too much. There is so much to do and see during Christmas that you don’t mind the crowds. Plus it’s not hot. Hot and crowded is no fun.

I’ve switched my attention to character dining. I’m planning for sure to do Storytellers the day after our last park day, hopefully for dinner, and if I can’t get that, then breakfast. The only other one I’m interested in is Plaza Inn on a park day. If we can get a 10:20 or 10:40 time slot, will we still get plenty of time interacting with characters? It says they end breakfast at 11:00, so I don’t want to have our time cut short if we come in at the very end.

I believe they keep serving breakfast for like an hour after the last breakfast time. You should check what time they start serving lunch to confirm. I think the 10 o’clock hour is good for sure but not sure about 11.

Another good time for Storytellers is the very last bit of breakfast where it morphs into lunch. I’ve done that twice now.

We did that at Crystal Palace in WDW and it was great! We are planning some other sightseeing outside the parks that day, so a mid-day sit down meal doesn’t fit our plans this time.
I was checking the furthest out available dining reservations during the 1st week of Dec, and Storytellers is only showing available at 8pm. Does that mean the earlier ones already got snatched up, or have they not released all the dinnertime slots yet?

I went back and adjusted our party size from 5 to 4 and there are now lots of dinner slots showing. That’s interesting. Can I book for 4 and then modify for 5 later if that lets me get the time I want?

For a character breakfast it is risky, but with basically any ADR I have successfully increased my party size by one at checkin.
