How will Avitar opening affect predictions?

Hello All,

I am planning my trip to WDW for last week of October 2017 for the weather, historically lower crowds and of course the hope that Avitar Land of Pandora will have opened in AK. What will the opening of a highly anticipated Land with new “Headliner” attractions do to the crowd calendar?

Obviously, no one “knows”. Obviously, AK will be more crowded, but how much more crowded will in part be a function of exactly when Pandora opens. If it opens in April, then it will have been open for 6 months by the time you go, and at least some of the “brand new” crowd will have dissipated. But if it doesn’t open until Aug or Sept, then the crowds will be worse.
