If we aren’t staying on site and therefore don’t have early park admission, how early should we arrive before the official park open time?
We went to Universal Studios today, Saturday, arriving at the gate for US around 8:10 a.m. We were some of the first people there. You see, only Islands of Adventure/ HP offer Early Adm, so that’s where the crowd was. They all want HP!
They let us in right at 9 a.m., and by then there was quite a crowd behind us, but not overwhelming. Of course, it all depends upon when you go. This is the first time we arrived for rope drop, so I’m only guessing when I say if you get there before 8:30 a.m., you should be ok. Best of all to you!
P.S. I believe the parking garage opens at 7 a.m. I forget exactly what time we got there, but the place was virtually empty. That was nice! Got a parking spot right up close.
