How do you add age groups to trip?

I keep seeing the message, “New: add age groups to your trip and see the highest rated attractions for your family!” but there is no instructions on how to do that. I’ve checked my profile, opened my touring plans, tried to create a new touring plan but have had no luck. Just what am I missing?

I found it on my dashboard where you put in you start / end dates. go to the trip on your dashboard and then edit to tick the age boxes BUT doesn’t seem to do anything?

I had ticked those boxes when I registered in January but as far as I could tell, it had no impact on my touring plans.
