Hoop Dee Doo Musical Review Balcony Seating for Four?

Looking for experiences of those who have had balcony seating at the Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue… particularly with a group of four or more. If so…

  1. Did you like your seats?
  2. Were you on the sides or in the back?
  3. Could everyone in your party view the show OK?

Feel free to provide more information if you wish.

Thanks in advance for your feedback.

We were a party of 4 (one was a newbie) in a side balcony - left if facing the stage. In 2015, so old info likely.

Our table ran along the wall - exterior possibly - we were seated in a row, side by side, with our backs to the main seating area.

The show began as we were finishing our strawberry shortcake. I turned my chair about 90 degrees and sat sideways to look over the balcony. Some stood. Some of the entertainers ascended the stairs to interact with those on the balcony that were interested in interacting.

I would rather have had the “table” along the balcony rather than face the wall while eating. But perhaps the table interferes with viewing the entertainment. And we were essentially finished eating before the show began.

On our fist visit we had a center table quite near the stage. There were maybe 9 of us and we had a great time but it was noisy. I decided to bring ear plugs the next visit.

Which I forgot. The newbie with us on the second visit did not appreciate loud noises which is why I booked the balcony. It wasn’t quite as loud as the main floor close to the stage. The newbie was glad to have the experience but hasn’t been in a hurry for a repeat visit, yet.

I would book the balcony again despite the table placement.

We were on the left side about halfway to the stage.

The view over the railing was great.
