Ooh, sounds like a nice new theme!

The Nightmare Fuel show is always a Must Do for me. I try to see it multiple times each trip. "Noir” is one of my favorite film themes. I wonder how / what they’ll change for this show!!

(With the announcement of “Epic Nights” in October. I am really rethinking my HHN plans. Especially since the F&F coaster still isn’t open in Hollywood yet!)

UOR has really gone “All-In” on Dr. Oddfellow these last couple years. I like him, but don’t want to have him or Jack be at every HHN going forward. I’m sure it’ll be fun though!

Luckily he and Jack were not there last year, so they are new to me. But it also means I don’t understand the referneces which makes the lead up to this year less fun.

I would be interested in seeing this one as a house!

I missed this show announcement today

WOW! What a miserable decision. I always buy Rush of Fear and go for at least 4 nights. Sometimes 7 - 10 nights.

I tried going to HHN without Express Pass the first year I attended in 2022. It’s miserable without express.

I was on the fence about going to UOR for HHN and a few days at the parks this year. This makes that decision easier.

I don’t mind a price increase for a multi night Express passes, but having to pay the daily price for UXP is too much.

I would’ve stayed for at least 5 nights at a UOR hotel and bought an AP or ticket package for the parks plus Rush of Fear with Express for HHN. Now, UOR isn’t going to get anything. :man_shrugging:

I saw added frustration due to the delay in this announcement. Express passes have been increasing in price since release.

Yeah… the date based surge pricing is going to be a real headache.

I haven’t been tracking HHN as well this year. Historically, “fear" passes go on sale in June. Did they start selling them then without Express? That would’ve prevented me from buying them then. I would be on the phone today trying to get my refund and reschedule any flights if I had bought them early.

They have not been released yet. They are going on sale “soon”.

If I had one night to go to HHN without express and get the most done what day would you recommend? I plan on purchasing the scream early ticket.

Wednesday or Thursday

I’m not as upset about no UXO on Fear passes since they didn’t start selling them yet. I would’ve be irrate if I’d bought a Fear pass believing UXP would stil be available as in past years.

Maybe this will make the standby reasonable, but the crowds keep get larger with littke to no cap in capcity. (Except Halloween weekend)

You can look at the pricing too - it reflects which nights Universal thinks will be less crowded.

Some people on socials think that Friday and Saturday can be better because people with Frequent Fear passes are blocked, so there are fewer regulars. Of those two, Friday is undoubtedly the better choice with an early entry as anyone local who works will be arriving later.
