This will be our first party and we have no idea what to expect. We won’t be in MK that day, so we plan to arrive for the party by 4:00, and have an ADR at Plaza Restaurant for 4:25. Can we make this, or is the line to enter too long to expect to be able to get to the restaurant in time?

I have only been to MVMCP once, so your mileage may vary, but when we entered at that time of afternoon there were just a few people in line and we could have easily made it inside to The Plaza in 25 minutes. That was in November 2014. Someone else who has been more recently hopefully can comment with additional info.

You should be fine. The crazy rush of people entering/exiting the park doesn’t come until later (and is a little different now that non-party guests are supposed to leave by 6pm.

We were also first-timers for the last MVMCP of 2017 - a sold-out one, so lots of people that night. We also showed up about 4 pm and there was no line to speak of - we were inside the park quite quickly. And remember you do have a little cushion around that 4:25 time if it’s really going to be close - up to 10 minutes late or thereabouts.
