Yes! We always stay at the Yacht Club because we love it and the proximity to EPCOT & HS. Not sure if we’d mix it up given it might be less of a pool trip…
Wilderness Lodge would be my dream Christmas stay!
Also, ff Polynesian, curious how the new DVC resort looks and maybe its open Thanksgiving timeframe to walk thru/go to dinner. We’d be happy with the existing Polynesian rooms though. Love their room/bathroom layout.

We go about every year and stopped going in the summer a while ago. While you may not mind the heat, once you see what’s it’s like without it you may change your mind 
. We go over the Christmas break, yes it’s crazy, but if you’re willing to do the Genie+ and implement the strategies outlined on here then you’ll be fine. We did everything at least twice this past year, and had an infant, 2 year old and a 10 year old, some mornings we slept in (as much as one can with an infant).
Christmas time is amazing down there, I would definitely do Thanksgiving.
