Help? How do I reserve a room for two seperate parties?

Hello All,

I am booking a reservation at either Contemporary or Grand Floridian for November 2017 for 7 nights. For 4 or 5 of those nights I will be joined by two other adults. As I am paying for the trip, how do I make the reservations? I don’t want tickets and dining for 3 people all 7 nights. Can I make two separate reservations for them and myself and link them so that they will be staying in the same room?
Any advise would be much appreciated.

All guests in the same room must be on the package with tix/dining. So no you can’t do this.Book room only then buy tix sep and dining oop would be best.

Thank you so much for your feedback! Truly appreciated. I have not been to WDW since 1979 where I stayed at the Polynesian Resort which I would go back to if I had not worked three years on a Norwegian Cruise ship in Hawaii. I’ve had my fill of that theme for a while.
