We also didn’t stay for Fantasmic! since it was just us and kiddo was wiped out. We’ll see if we can make it back over a different night.

Tomorrow’s plan:

9/29 - Epcot/Magic Kingdom (maybe?)

LLs:

9:35am Soarin’

10:35am Living w/ the Land

2:15pm Guardian’s

4:05pm Remy

The goal is to rope drop Frozen. We know we won’t be front-of-pack, but Elsa comes first. Well second, to coffee.

From there we’ll catch Three Caballeros before switching to the front part of Epcot.

If it’s still pretty early, most of the group will see a friendly purple dragon. My wonderful, sweet, darling daughter has REFUSED to ride Journey into the Imagination this year. (She had NO PROBLEM with it the last 2 trips!) Her reasoning is that the skunk smell makes her smell and then she’d need a bath and she doesn’t want to do that. Luckily my husband and I will have a chunk of time just us at Epcot later in the trip and I can catch it then if I feel the urge, so she and I will play in the games area while the others ride. But this ride is a must do for BIL.

If we’re moving slow, we might save this for later in the afternoon before heading back into World Showcase.

Next it’s over to The Land pavilion to grab breakfast from Sunshine Seasons and do Soarin’ and LwtL.

Journey of Water and Nemo/Fish Tanks to round out the morning.

The Middle Generation (Me, DH, BIL/wife, SIL/partner) have a 1pm Geo-82 reservation! The rest of the crew will snack/fend for themselves and head to the playground behind Creations.

We’ll ride Guardian’s before meeting back up with the kids and then fingers crossed we will have picked up a Test Track LL on the drop. If not, we’ll try again later in the week.

Then it’s on to World Showcase!

I really want to try and do all the Duck Tales stops and plan to spend the late afternoon/evening doing that and F&W and not much else. Haha!

We’re shooting for a 4pm Remy and then part of the group will split.

While we linger in World Showcase the rest of the evening and watch Luminous, the Tampa Cousins plus some of the less Epcot focused family plan to hop back to MK to see Starlight and Happily Ever After.

Then it’s skyliner/bus to CBR and bed!

They did! And the girls felt so special getting to meet them spontaneously and being picked out of the crowd! It was really cool getting to see Flynn out and about since the princes are such a rarity.

Another busy but fun day!

9/29 Epcot Recap:

Ourselves and BIL made it to the skyliner a little before 8am as planned. The others were running late (you’ll notice a trend here. :zipper_mouth_face:)

Walked right on and got through security and taps at the IG with no delay.

Started with Joffrey’s and an attempt to wait for the others. Then realized they were not gonna make it before EE ended so we headed off to Frozen. Which was not open. :frowning:

So decided to pivot to Three Caballeros, which then also had a delayed start at around 9:15. Finally got to ride and then headed across to meet up with the others who had finally made it in to the park and decided to start at the Moana meet and greet. Sent DD to get in line with them and then when they finished we all headed into Journey of Water together.

While we did that our Soarin’ LL converted to a MEP. Then so did our LwtL.
We waited a while for the Tampa group to meet up and then all did Nemo and the fish tanks but then we needed food.
Started with a popcorn break and then spent some time in Club Cool.
That wasn’t enough so got the kids a real lunch a Connections Eatery. While eating Soarin came back up and we headed there next to use our LLs.
The LL was backed up so we were a little late to our Geo 82 reservation but we’re still seated quickly and had a wonderful grown up lunch while the kids and grandparents played on the playground and watched the Encanto stage show.

Next was our Guardians LL Filled immediately by our Test Track LL I snagged on the drop!

Then it was off to the World Showcase. Started with a Morocco cider flight Followed by the Japan gift shop. DD had been extremely patient about getting to this all day and was thusly rewarded with a large plush Pochoco.
While in the gift shop it started pouring for the second time of the day but it cleared quickly and we backtracked to France to catch our Remy LL.

More rain but we made the most of it with some puddle dancing and trying to catch raindrops on our tongues.

Food was next. Greece booth griddle cheese, Japan QS sushi, Block and Hans pretzel bites and chipotle lemonade for us. The others grabbed various things as we walked around to Norway to use a Frozen LL picked up earlier in the day.
After Frozen most of the group decided to beat the crowds back to the resort (the nieces don’t do great with loud fireworks and they forgot to grab their earphones for today) but myself, DH and DD stuck it out and had front row seats for the show from between the Norway and China pavilions.

Took the skyliner back to the resort with only a 20min wait, and now everyone but myself is asleep!

Tomorrow’s Plan:

9/30 - Break Day

After two very full days, we’ll pause for a little bit.

Sleep in just a tad (assuming any of the kids actually allow that) with an alarm for as late as 9am!

But then we have a 10:45am Topolino’s breakfast reservation. I’m excited about this one! We missed it last year because of Hurricane Milton, and it’s DH’s favorite.

Our group plans to then spend mid-day at the pool, stopping around 3pm to shower and dress.

We have early (5pm) dinner reservations at Raglan Road to kick off an evening at Disney Springs. Hoping to stop in the Lego store, Gideon’s, the Ganachery, and maybe Salt & Straw after.

This is where we say goodbye to the Tampa crew as they drive home the next day.

For the rest of us it’s a bus back to CBR and bed, hopefully by no later than 10pm!

DD allowed us to sleep in until about 8:30, which was fabulous!

We then leisurely got dressed for our 10:45 Topolino’s reservation. Arrived 15 minutes early and asked nicely to have our two reservations merged or sat as close together as possible. They were able to get most of us at one table with a four top right next to it, which worked perfectly.

Food was delicious and the characters were fantastic!

From there we went back to our rooms to change and then headed to the pool. DD and DN did the water slide approximately 400 times in a row before we had to head back in to clean up for dinner.

Made it to the bus stop by 4pm and quickly got to DS and over to Raglan Road to see about also merging our two 5pm reservations. They were able to get us all at one table and seat us very shortly after we checked in!

Dinner was great and the girls really liked the dancers, especially the youngest niece. She’s usually a big eater but was too busy trying to dance along to be bothered with food.

We skipped dessert at Raglan Road and instead planned to get ice cream from salt and straw.

Made a quick pit stop at the Lego store first but then tried the honey lavender and the olive oil ice creams. I enjoyed both!

After ice cream most of the group headed back to the resort for an early-ish night. Myself, DH and DD got in line for Gideon’s and after about a 30 minute wait got cookies which will be breakfast tomorrow (and probably the day after based on their size)!

DH then did some shopping at Uniqlo and DD picked out a completely too large for her Donald Duck t-shirt that she’s wearing as a nightgown.

We caught a bus back to the resort and are now all reset for tomorrow.

Tomorrow’s Plan:

10/1 - Hollywood Studios/Epcot

LLs:

9:25am Slinky

10:15am TSM

4pm ToT

2:30pm RotR

Hoping to pickup RnR, MFSR and Test Track during the day.

Plan is to be at the skyliner for 8am and head to MMRR first then Alien Swirling Saucers.

Next is Woody’s Lunchbox breakfast before the rest of our Toy Story Land LLs.

Depending on timing we’ll either see Little Mermaid or the Villains show and maybe stop in to meet Joy and/or Sully.

Then on to Star Wars.

Starting with Star Tours, we’ll then grab lunch at Ronto Roasters or Docking Bay 7. Then hoping to ride MFSR before our 1:50pm Oga’s reservation.

Rise of Resistance will finish the tour and we’ll split off into Big and Little groups again. Big kids will go catch ToT and RnR while the Little’s see Frozen Singalong.

Then regroup and depending on which show we saw earlier (Mermaid or Villains) we’ll do the other one.

From there I’m not sure what the rest will do but me, DH and DD want to head back to Epcot.

Food goals are more F&W tastes. Ride goals are Soarin’ and Test Track. Then we’ll visit Journey of Water at night and make our way out of the park to try and beat the Skyliner rush.

OMG today was a loooong day! We did SO much! It was the first full day with no major rain (just a small shower while we were on the skyliner midafternoon) so it was non-stop!

Our DD decided she didn’t want to reride MMRR so we rope dropped a gift shop while everyone else rode.

Then we headed over to Alien Saucers.

Breakfast was Woody’s lunchbox.

Us, SIL and DN8 rode Slinky. DN was not a fan but she handled it like a champ. DD LOVED it and used MIL and FIL magic bands to reride with DH for a second time.

Next we got in line to meet Woody and Jessie.

From there it was TSM before heading out of Toy Story Land.

We opted for the Villain show next and really enjoyed it. Maleficent won out I think in large part because our group was so enthusiastic for her!

Lunch was Backlot Express then we went to Batuu.

Rode MFSR, and it was so slow they left empty seats in our ship! Oga’s was good but we got a standing table and the kids were starting to burn out. So we only stayed for one round. RotR was next and both girls really liked it!

We split here and the 4 “big kids” went to RnR and ToT while the rest went to the Frozen singalong.

One last stop in the gift shops before heading out.

My three took the Skyliner to Epcot and the rest went to do their own thing, some at the resort and others also to Epcot but on their own agenda.

In Epcot we did a snack at Gyozas of the Galaxy, Test Track, Three Caballeros, China for potstickers and egg rolls, Japan for tonkotsu and bao bun, Soarin, Nemo, Journey of water 5 min before park close, and then caught some of the fireworks as we left the park.

Skyliner back to the resort to call it a night!

Tomorrow’s plan:

10/2 - Animal Kingdom

LLs:

9:15am FoP

9:35am Navi River

11am Safari

2:05pm Kali River

This will be a slower paced day. No “rope drop” other than grabbing breakfast at Satuli before our Pandora LLs.

Then to see The Lion King or try Rafiki’s Watch, neither of which we’ve never managed to fit into our schedules!

Safari next before our 12:45 Yak & Yeti reservations.

Kali River and then a stop off for Everest for the Big Kids before heading over to what’s left of Dino Land for our goodbye to Dinosaur.

After Dinosaur we’ll likely split up again. My primary goal is to spend the remainder of the late afternoon at Nomad, resting my feet. Others have higher ambitions of another evening in Disney Springs.

We’ll see who feels better for the very early wakeup call for Friday!
