I’m seeing all sorts of weird behavior in the forum today. Disappearing posts, cryptic announcements about email being disabled. Forum won’t let me upload an image.
Anyone else?

Yes. I assume it might have to do with TP working on improvements to the site but maybe not I’m not an IT person

There appears to be a discourse update that was installed.
Thank you for starting a separate thread. Not all users follow the uncensored thread and it is important to recognize that.
I was not sure if what I was seeing was a moderator view and did not see anything early in the daily thread.

I made an update to a post in a thread about 30 minutes ago, but now it is gone.
Yesterday, the forum at one point stopped working entirely for several minutes. Now this.

I also seem to alternate between being logged in and being logged out. Also got the “you’ve installed discord” on my work computer and had a moment of panic.

Fortunately, NOT Discord, but Discourse. Discourse is the name of the forum software. Discord is something my kids insist I’m a boomer for not participating with them on!

I think it deleted some posts during the update. I had posted on the open thread and corrected the date and I just had to re-do both of those actions.

Oh you are correct and that actually makes me feel better. I knew that Discord is something I probably shouldn’t be up to as an elderly millennial.

It did. In roughly the 6am ET hour there were a goodly number of posts, including pics, that were disappeared around 7am

The forum is hosted by a third-party company. We can open a ticket with them.
