Catacombs were closed due to a strike which i didn’t read my in French email yesterday telling me so, so we walked an hour for nada except that I did walk thru Luxembourg gardens which was gorgeous.

I ordered the yellow drink last night which was yuzu, pineapple, banana and bourbon. While i love yuzu and like bourbon the combo with the banana was strange. We went in and out of caveau de la huchette. The swing music was great but it was a hot underground cave stuffed to the brim with warm bodies so that was the end of the night for my mom and me but the girls stayed out. I enjoyed the Eiffel Tower lunch but it was too much for the girls and my mom both in the three hours and in the fancy food. I’m lucky I married a hubby who is such an adventurous eater because he’s really the only one in my family that appreciates these kinds of things. Therefore the girls are now going to load up on chipotle before our Michelin Star dinner on the seine. :woman_facepalming: but hopefully they enjoy the ride and sights.

This a lacroix patisserie across from notre dame is as good as the internet claims. That lemon tart was fantastic.

Soufflés for lunch were great! My fave was the grand marnier.

I enjoyed the modern dance in orangerie yesterday as well. Not a word of English spoken around me or in the show so check for doing a non-touristy thing. Woo hoo!

Shocking and sad, but just how some people are. I was in Paris with my sister–who is not an adventurous eater-- and at some point she revolted. “Can’t we just have ‘normal’ food?” she complained. We got her some relatively familiar looking American style pizza for her next meal.

More to write when I’m not go go tired but for now this is exactly where I am so know I’m very very happy and check I’ve now been to every castle park in the world. What do I win?

Someone is also 18 today which from my perspective means I’ve done it right? Both kids are adults. Parenting job over? Lol

Best Haunted Mansion hands down. We did all 8 operating Disneyland park premier pass attractions in about 2.5 hours.

I prefer the spooky Snow White as well but Pinocchio not so much. I think storybook boats are better in Cali especially cuz they are open after dark. We’ve done all the rides in this park that were on my list today and the girls are currently in studios riding those premier access rides. We’ll be back at 10pm for our reserved fireworks area but this room right in the entrance to the park is fantastic. Can just come back for an hour so easy!

Tomorrow we have parade and lion king reserved and will focus on the walk thrus and maybe some of the music festival. But it was very easy with premier to do all the main rides in a few hours. This park feels small. But it is gorgeous. Fantasyland takes the cake. Best fantasyland

We loved that hotel so much! We would stop by to use the facilities in our room when park hopping, it was so close to the gates. I am kind of afraid to stay there again and get a much worse location room.

Yes I can see that being more of an issue but still much closer that Marvel hotel. Mine is in the hall right behind check-in counter so very very close.
