Gift card to pay for dessert parties?

I was pondering doing the ROL dessert party, but I wanted to use a Disney gift card for it. If I go to book it online there is not an option to use a gift card. Does anyone know if I could use one if I called the dining line to book?

I was able to use a gift card to pay for the Plaza Gardern dessert party and the Star Wars dessert party. I had to call to book it though.
