Gift card offer with NEW annual pass purchase

That makes me angry. It’s another example of inconsistency from them. :frowning:

I suggest you call back @TheBings .

Ask for a supervisor if necessary. I know of 2 people who have been given the gift card for APs purchased before the announcement since the weekend. One of them was an hour ago.

It is a manual process, the CM needs to fill out a form and pass it to someone higher up to get it approved.

Good luck.

I know this is from 6-days ago, but didn’t see any responses so just wanted to say:

A few years ago they changed AP vouchers so they have to be activated within 1 year of purchase - then the AP is good for the regular 1 year from that activation date. (Older vouchers, like the one I’ve had for years have until 2030 to be activated.)

So, there is some date arbitrage here - could buy the AP voucher now (or some time before the current deal ends) - then you have until late ~July 2026 to activate.

If you need to activate in April, great!

If not, a July 2026 activation will get you through to your May 2027 plans.
(Would not be the best use of :moneybag: to buy an AP for a single trip, of course.)

Or, worst case scenario: you let the voucher expire, then you can use those funds to purchase a new AP at the then current rate - and you’ll still have your $100 gift card to use.

Not my image below, but has the relevant expiration policy in there for reference:

Thank you so much @Nicky_S. I called again and got someone very nice who put me on hold for a few minutes to get it approved and then came back with the good news. Very appreciative to your suggestion to try again!

You have to activate in person, right?

I believe you do for first time, but not renewals?

I’ve not done it yet, I’m still sitting on my old voucher - so if I’m incorrect, someone jump in and correct me!

It depends. I didn’t but some people, especially of it isn’t a straight forwarded incredipass have needed to.

If the pass has eligibility criteria, like DVC or FL resident only, then you will need to show your ID to activate it.

Otherwise I think you should be OK to just go to the tapstile.

Ooh, thanks for sharing! I have decisions to make…

I wanted to confirm a few things about this offer:

  • As a direct DVC owner, I am eligible for a $75 gift card with the purchase of a Sorcerer’s Pass (if purchased by 9/30/25), even though I am not a FL resident.
  • If I buy the pass before 9/30/25, I will have 1 year from the date of purchase to activate it.
  • Once activated on the date of first use, I will have 1 year to use the AP before it expires.

Can someone please confirm the points above? I was going to call WDW, but I want to make sure I get the correct answers :slightly_smiling_face:.

Looking at our plans for next year, according to the TP Ticket Calculator, a 7-day PH ticket for our week would cost $840. The Sorcerer’s Pass (with tax) would be $1,150 ($1,075 net of the $75 gift card). Trying to decide if it is worth it. We would have to visit again before the year expires.

Other things to factor in would be the AP discounts. I know for our family, it adds up for table service restaurants and merchandise.

I can confirm points 2 and 3 and pretty sure the offer is not exclusive to FL residents but not 100%.

Yes, yes and yes.

I think they mean Sorcer’s pass is exclusive to Florida residents and eligible DVC owners.

Thanks all for replying!

The reason I was confused on this point was that something wonky was happening on the website when I clicked through “Special Offers”. When I clicked on the gift card offer, it kept asking me if I was a Florida resident, and when I answered “No” it kept throwing me back to the original offer page. It did not ask me If I was DVC. I could not seem to get to the purchase page. It seems fine now, so Idk what I was doing wrong, but since I only recently purchased DVC, maybe the system was just catching up with itself?

I believe he you have to go through DVC to get the Sorcerer’s pass and not through the web so that they can verify your direct membership. I have 170 points but all of them are resale and I am not grandfathered in so can’t get it. But the system can’t seem to tell is apart so they need a human.
