Can someone explain to me how geyser point works. I’m looking for a place to spend some quick service credits and the bison burger is calling to me.
Is this quick service eligible? Can we sit in the covered area?
Alternatively, what are my best quick service credit usages in the Bay Lake Tower area?

Since they re-started the dining plan it is now a table service credit.

I wonder if you order from the window and take your food to another location that’s not geyser pt, if it would be a quick serve credit?

Can I get the bison burger from the window?

or maybe we could go to trails end at Fort wilderness. Does anyone know which meals are included in the quick service credits there? I’m looking at the settlement skillet, or the full slab family meal (maybe two credits).
It is only listed on the website when you filter all restaurants, as table service. I think it is like A&C mobile is still TS?
Wait! When you sort by QS it does not show up but on this list it does show it as both!
I found a fairly recent discussion about this on DisBoards. Geyser Point Bar & Grill and Disney Dining Plan | DIS Disney Discussion Forums - DISboards.com
If you plan to sit at the tables and chairs under the roof of the open-air building, where wait-staff attend you, that is TS.
If you order food from the to-go window and take it else where (not to sit under the roofed area), then it’s QS. There are several tables and chairs along the sidewalk along the lakeshore that you can sit at to eat your to-go food. We did that last December (but didn’t use a dining plan).

That’s better. Now I feel happier.

Glad to help! Sitting there, eating our food then visiting with fellow Liners for a long time - one of my favorite memories! Some of the seating is cushioned outdoor furniture. There are also metal patio tables with chairs. Here’s a photo that shows the various seating in relation to the covered (TS) area.

Are there fans in the roofed area? We’ve never been and wanted to try it during our next trip- but that means July heat will be a factor.
Yes! I think you can see one in this photo.

I wonder if sitting at the bar is considered TS or QS…?
Probably TS. That’s where we were seated by the hostess one time. They wait on you, etc as if you were at a table. Not a “to-go” meal at all.

HI! Can you tell me how you found that list that shows Geyser Pt as being both QS and TS? On the app or website? And what “path” (what u clicked on) you took to find it… thx so much!
To see it as a TS you can see it through the dining plan link to all options starting here https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/dining/plans/#drawer-card-drawerDisneyDiningPlan
To see it as QS, you need to go through the mobile order app
