My family and I have been to Sci-Fi Dine In, and didn’t really care for the food. However, the kids loved the ambiance and I’d love to take them again. Is it frowned upon to go and just order dessert and maybe an appetizer?

I agree with you. It is not nearly what it is made out to be and the food is just so so at best and that’s giving it more credit than deserved. Didn’t care much for the short clip of sci fi movies of the past and I was raise during that time. Consider it like a drive-in it pretends to be and order anything you want and as little as you want. Way over priced for what you get.
