Geo 82 8:20 reservation and Luminous

I scored an 8:20 pm reservation at Geo 82 (first time visiting it)!and although I don’t expect to have a great view of Luminous (since those spots would likely be taken by those who paid for the show viewing), I am wondering if anyone has had a reservation time close to this and whether they were able to view any of Luminous.

Yes, I did and over on the Lines app, I believe, a number of other people had success as well without the fireworks package. We had an 8:20 without the fireworks package and got the table against the window all the way to the right. We could still see the fireworks. I think most of the other tables had an even better view.

Yes. You’ll be able to see it just fine from most if not all of the seats. You just won’t be up on the glass.

Also be aware that they will stop serving about halfway through the show. So you may only have time for one round, two if you’re super eager and they are running on time.

Thanks @zarbado and @OBNurseNH! I am running the half marathon that morning and thought this would be a nice treat to end the day.

It will be a nice treat if you are still vertical!

You’ve done other rundisney before so maybe you know your fortitude. For me that would be way too late - you’re looking at 10:30 before you see your bed.

We did an earlier than that Citricos the evening of the W&D half in 2024 (I had run the full series that weekend) and we were practically asleep in our dinners  It was not super enjoyable as a result.

All this to say that if you’ve got that kind of stamina, go for it. But if you’ve not done a late evening after the race series before, maybe keep trying for an earlier slot.

There’s not a bad seat in there with regard to the fireworks view. If you’re at the bar, you have to turn around - but other than that, a slight shifting in your seat and you’re good to go.

Our servers came around and reminded us that they would not be serving during the fireworks.
