Hi all! I’ve spent hours creating my touring plans and G+ strategy using the order of priority outlined in the TP Step by Step blogs. Today out of curiosity I optimized my MK plan and it recommended deviating from the order of priority and in some cases had us in stand by as opposed to using LL. Example, I know SM is first priority, but the TP had me start with JC and and getting LL for SM in the afternoon. Is the software sophisticated enough to account for difficulty in getting LL? TIA!
I don’t know the answer to your question, but I do know that SM has a real problem with being down the first hour of the day (that hour starts with Early Entry). Most recently, it was down 29% of its first hour over two weeks. If you were planning to RD SM, maybe TP is urging you to do a G+ LL instead of standby. JC is much more reliable at its RD time (official park opening), if you wanted to do standby.
But maybe I’m misunderstanding your question, if you’re talking about which LL to get first.
I don’t think the software can think things through as well as a human brain. However, both SM and JC are good 1st LL picks. I think you should go with whichever is higher priority to you.
I agree with this. Both are good first pics.
Honestly though, since SM is often not up for rope drop, a good strategy is to start with something in Fantasyland (like PP) during early entry, then Rope Drop JC for regular hours.
Meanwhile, get your first LL for SM and if it is down, it will convert to a golden ticket. If it’s up, you can go there after JC.
