No shade toward campsites but this ad made me LOL
Unless that’s a Harry Potter tent… doesn’t look too magical to me

That ad keeps popping up for me too, and I thought the same! That looks like an old army tent my dad had from 50+ years ago that we’d play with as kids…not sure who in marketing thought it would sell the campgrounds!
Nothing like ending a long, hot sweaty day in the parks by walking through a sandy field to an uncomfortable long, hot, sweaty attempt at sleeping on the ground.
We used to have a 3 room tent with a portable a/c hole, a mini fridge, camping griddle/stove/ ice chest, rug, blow up sofa and chair, throw blankets and pillows, air matresses that were pretty dang comfy, lamps, side tables, fans.
Outside we had all the fancy camping chairs and decorations. Disney missed the mark with this add.
“Edna, this is your tent.”
Not only that, but many of the sites per night rival the cost of a discounted moderate. And that’s for just the site.
I get that costs are up everywhere, but pulling up in an electric cart to hose down the concrete slab before the next folks roll onto the site costs way less than regular housekeeping in a regular rooms. And there’s no soft goods refresh required.
In December, sites with hook ups near the Meadows Trading Post were $247/night.
