Free kids dining hypothetical…

Hypothetically, what’s stopping me from saying I have more kids in my room than I do since it can be booked as a ticketless package? DH and I were discussing it and obviously other than morally, what’s stopping anyone from adding “extra” kids?

And achieve what?

It would give you more free snacks/QS meals.

I thought all free dining packages required a theme park ticket per guest as well. I.e., no ticketless packages

The 2026 free kids dining can be booked as a ticketless package, added to DVC bookings, and/or combined with room discounts. It’s kinda crazy.

A conscience?

Yes, that’s why I did say “obviously other than morally”.

It does seem like this might be a theoretical loophole. However I will note that Disney has a lot of data available to them and if they catch people doing something that clearly abuses their policies, they reserve the right to deny service, which can include being banned. :grimacing: So that is the other aspect preventing people from doing this – the risk of penalty.

That was our thought as well. That the risk isn’t worth a few extra snacks but that doesn’t mean people won’t do it

Hi there

So there’s a word for that :expressionless_face:

I made an exception and dropped a heart on this post.

Because exactly that.

You do have to have tickets. I’m guessing if you have an AP or already have tickets you have to call.

  • Book by phone if you already have tickets. I’m thinking they will verify this.

I completely understand trying to Game the System. I don’t think you can in this case though.

I’m not above saying it’s my birthday to get a free cupcake :rofl::shark:

Dude really? Those free birthday cupcakes, while a nice gesture they don’t have to do, are dry and gross!

If you don’t have tickets you need to call. But you do not have to buy tickets to get this offer. This is new for 2026, in that it applies to everyone with an onsite reservation.

But that’s not the wording. I wonder if anyone has been able to book this without having tickets of any sort. Because it states if you already have theme park admission you can call. You do have to book this as part of a package. I don’t see any indication that tickets are optional to take advantage of the offer.

They are limiting the number of packages. But it doesn’t appear to be based on room inventory at a particular resort like some other discounts- at least as of now. I do think once that magic number is hit, this promotion will end.

I think you have to book by Nov 5th. Paging by @OBNurseNH to confirm.

Certainly people booking DVC reservations have been able to book it. When you add the dining plan, the cost is zeroed out for kids.

I also know AP holders who have booked and got the kids’ dining for free.

Book by 11/5 for free dining? No. That’s good throughout all of 2026
