The DDP works great for our family. But I understand it doesn’t for everyone. We definitely get more than our money’s worth and my DH strongly prefers it even if we were to lose a little because of what it adds to the vacation. Our MVT package has the DDP on it, and is still way cheeper than doing the “free dining plan” offer.

Well, I came back down to Earth last night and switched to POR. I actually ended up saving a little over $500 from our original POFQ plans and much more than that over the switch to Contemporary. While we love the Contemporary and all of its conveniences, just because we “could” do the upgrade doesn’t mean that we “should.” So now we have a comfortable amount in saving by going to POR to do a few “extras.”
