We were at MK for Father’s Day last year. I think it was projected a 4 and ended up being a 6 or 7. It was less crowded than later in the week. Other than a thunderstorm that had us trapped on Thunder Mountain, We were able to get most things done we wanted by sticking to our touring plan. We were literally next to ride when they shut it down. We waited for quite a while before we had to leave for dinner.
Are your teenagers morning people? If not I would avoid planning to RD everyday. I had planned RD and getting everyone out of bed on time was a major pain.
My kids were 18, 16, and 4 and for the most part we all did the same rides. The only ones my 4 year old couldn’t ride were RNR, EE, and FOP. Although we were fine to let the older two go off on their own, they chose not to.
