Can you walk through Hogwarts if you don’t ride Forbidden Journey? If you use EP for Forbidden Journey, do you miss the detail that you would get if you were in the SB line?
You skip some rooms and scenes with Express but all the character driven rooms are there.
Immediately before boarding there is a chicken exit. At the attraction entrance tell the TM you wish to tour the castle and not ride, they’ll tell you to go through the attraction then tell a CM after the Griffindore common room you wish to not ride.

I would suggest doing the standby line if you’re a big fan to see all the details.

I wanted to do standby to see all the details but was pressed for time so I did express and still felt like it was amazing. Very glad we went through the queue. We knew in advance we couldn’t ride the ride.
