We are getting up early-ish — not RD, but not late like today — to get the AK for the morning, then back here for a break because DD has a job interview, then weygo back to AK for the afternoon
So i’ll write more later, but this was an incredible day. We did not ride one single ride !!! And it was a perfect day!!! We strolled, we looked, we saw, we shopped (I can’t wait to get those rewards on my Disney Visa!), we snacked, we tried new things.
Yes, it turns out that relaxed slow down Disney vacation is possible, and wonderful!

Good morning! I’m back from a short run and here is where i am having my first cup of coffe
those are rocking chairs!
I can see monorails and boats heading to MK. the cabins on the other half (Boulder Ridge side ) have a full lake view, but this is fun. This would be a perfect cabin location for watching HEA 
DD and I stayed up just talking in front of our cozy fireplace, so a slight change in plans in the works: we’ll leave for AK at 10am and she’ll break off around 12:30pm and do her interview in her car 
so we don’t have to drive all the way back here and back to AK
The only ride at AK we want to do is KS, otherwise its trails and looking/seeing things. We have a 7:25 ADR at Narcoosee, so when we are done with AK we’ll drive to GF and see the decorations there
here is what i bought for me yesterday. New oven mitts, a cuddly hat in Canada, Christmas Disney onesie, and a cuddle blanket
and a buddha board and incense in Japan
And, when I awoke this morning it was to an email from runDisney cancelling in-person Star Wars Race Weekend in April. Not a surprise, but 
Since I’m not interested in paying $409 for virtual races and more medals and race shirts that i don’t need, i’ll probably choose the full refund option
So I get to buy more today, right?!
