We have a FP+ for FOP for 10:35 and then KS FP for 11:50. I know we should do NRJ first thing at RD but what to do in between while we kill time before FOP?

Personally I would take the time to look around Discovery Island and Harambe.
If RD is at 8am, then maybe the Gorilla trail if it’s open, it should be by 9 I think.

I’d say: NRJ-Gorilla Trail-EE with FPP-Dino-FOP-Kali if warm enough-KS.
You could also set up a personal touring plan for AK. That would give you the best sequence of your chosen rides & shows, in order to give you the shortest lines.
The PTP will also recommend which rides to have fpps for. Actually you can also opt to use single rider line for EE, unless you have younger children with you on the ride, who may not want to ride as single, or be too young to be in the single rider line.

I would do NRJ-Photopass pictures in Pandora-10:00am Festival of the Lion King-FOP-lunch at Satu’li Canteen-KS-Gorilla Trail-explore Africa, especially Harambe Market-head off to Asia or back to the Tree of Life.
