That might be a viable option.
I am thinking now that I might just double up on two 40 oz or so tumblers and have them in my bagā¦ā¦weāll see.

Well that is a really cool and functional souvenir for her! And durable it seems too or it would have fallen apart in the parks.
Oh ok. Thatās not a bad option. I was envisioning it hanging from my back and whacking me every time I took a step. That doesnāt seem like that would happen with this strap.
I canāt tell you how many times I almost had/had heat stroke at Busch Gardens Williamsburg growing up. I swear my parents never said a word about drinking water to prevent it when it was so hot and humid. We live where it is very dry (eastern WA) and we all drink so much water. My Mom still doesnāt seem to drink much of it. She will take a sip or two and call it good.
Itās so crazy to think of the difference isnāt it?! Alsoā¦.how many reusable water bottles did you have in your house growing up? Iām pretty sure we had zero. I canāt image parenting without water bottles with us AT ALL TIMES. ![]()
I think we might have had one or two for sports, but I might be misremembering. We have so many in our house now. Itās a wonder we all didnāt have kidney disease from the lack of appropriate hydration!
itās a wonder anyone survives until adulthood! All the ![]()
moments looking back on how I used to live my life. Like in college going to the grocery store once a month to buy who knows what and then getting it back to my apartment not knowing how to cook anything.
My family growing up had zero refillable water bottles too. When we were out of frozen concentrated juice we would fill the pitcher that we usually made it in with ice cubes & water to keep cool in the fridge and drink that.
And when we went places if we got thirsty and it wasnāt mealtime we would just drink from the drinking fountains (when we were out we would usually be at a place that had one).
Now that I think of it, before Covid we would use some of the (better) water fountains at Disneyland (there were a couple that had nice cool water & the Cali water actually doesnāt taste horrible like Florida). And if we did happen to have our refillable water bottles with us, we would refill at those drinking fountains and take a nice long drink from them too. Now we only use refill stations or ice water from quick services and the refillable water bottles are a must.
That was us! From the time they were around 3 years old, they carried a little backpack, which would have drinks, snacks, small toys, DS (remember those?, money, etc). It may be troublesome going through security at the parks for some people but we werenāt lugging their stuff!
That would be me! We never hauled around water bottles! I would be dying of thirst before my parents would buy drinks, wherever we were. We just normally had drinks with meals. The rest of the time, we had water fountains and the fountains at school were gross!
I remember getting terrible stomach aches growing up. Thinking back, I was probably dehydrated.
Because I hauled the kids around growing up, I always had snacks and drinks by the back door, ready to put into the car when we go out. Saved lots of money not buying drinks! Since the kids are out of the house, I still brings drinks for me when I go out for me. I canāt tell you how many times DH would ask to drink some of my water or tea! ![]()
How did we all survive without water all day? Looking back I donāt know how we did it.
