Fireworks at tomorowland vs plaza garden

When I went Labor Day weekend they escorted us to an open table. I wonder if that happens all the time now?

We were escorted to a table, but the hostess had difficulty spotting one. And the tables and chairs are so packed in to the space that it was slightly tricky to fight our way to it.

None of this really mattered to me. It was a “trip of a lifetime” and I wanted the best fireworks experience I could have.

Except . . . you know what . . . every time I remember HEA I remember something that really irritated me. But I’ve been ashamed to talk about it. I didn’t even write about it in my trip reports.

There was a young (teenage?) girl in the garden area with us. She decided to enjoy the fireworks by dancing to them. She was tall and wore a flowing dress. So it was HUGELY distracting. Back and forth she went. Round and round. It REALLY irritated me. But I couldn’t say anything because you can’t get cross with children in DisneyWolrd. I mean, that’s the whole point of DisneyWorld. Kids having fun. So I bit my lip. But it genuinely spoilt the experience for me.

We got there around 25 minutes before the hour around a week ago- and it was already filling up. Didn’t experience any disorganization- given the number of people there it was run quite smoothly- trays were kept full- and there was always some of a given dessert on one side or the other. We skipped the escort and just walked down- once you get to the end of the ramp at the restaurant it is only a short distance. Scope out the location ahead of time- once you know where it is you can just walk down whenever you want.
