This will be my first time visiting the Festival of the Arts. If you’ve been before, what is your favorite part of FARTs?

mmm probably the displays and easily the food (Best food of any festival in my opinion, yes even better than F&W)
The animation academy is great too. While I’m not brave enough, you can also Q&A various artists on their work (there was one year where Paige Ohara was there. I don’t know if she’s returning).
There’s also these demos when painters make you feel completely inferior as a human as they put something down on canvas in like a 20 minutes, and it doesn’t look like a Jackson Pollock, actually looks like something.

So. Much. Art. Like seriously everywhere. Vendors displaying their art, chalk art, giant replica artwork you can take pictures in, great entertainment, the Broadway singers… it has great food booths too.

I think everyone has covered what makes this festival the best one! But they say a picture is worth a 1,000 words!

We got a kick out of the photo ops that they have where you pose in a famous painting. Some have photos pass and some don’t. Kids especially liked posing in the Frida Kahlo portrait trying to get the unibrow positioned just so, acting the part in Washington Crossing the Delaware, etc.
