Are Fastpasses linked to a specific person or are they simply linked to everyone under your MDE account?
For example, if I book a FP for myself and my son but later decide I would rather my husband take him on that particular ride, can my husband use my FP?
Fastpasses are indeed linked to a specific person (aka magic band). This is why everyone in your party must have a fastpass to enter the fastpass lane. However, if your situation happens which you described what you could do is just give your husband your magic band then he can use it to tap in and ride with your son.

They are linked to a specific ticket or magic band, but that being said your husband could easily use your ticket or band to ride the ride with your son.
